LION has its roots in the USA, with a history dating back to the late 19th century. Originally a dry goods store, today LION is the world's leading manufacturer of systems and solutions for firefighter training and education. Amongst them, full-scale fixed training facilities including fire training towers, training ships, aircraft simulators, industrial complexes and multi-structure training sites. Also, training facilities that include portable and stand-alone props, mobile trailers, semi-trailers and training containers modified to replicate a wide variety of fire scenarios in various environments (residential/commercial structures, industrial complexes, oil/gas fires, search and rescue missions, vehicles/ground transportation, aviation, marine, mining, hazardous materials).
